Here is the screenshot for proof because this is a random chance to have that weird texture and I am too lazy to have another of iron, but it’s gold dot on the drowned head and iron. It happen when a zombie with a golden, chainmail, and iron helmet submerged for a lot of seconds underwater. Also, it has an enchanted glint whenever the helmet is enchanted. It also occurred with other helmet of other types. It can happen when any drowned were helmet. Oops I mean that it occurs when the drown equips a helmet.

I saw Something similar too. I was playing on a realm when I and a friend of mine saw a drowned wearing golden leggings but it looked as if the leggings were part of him ( I don't know exactly how to say that) then I logged out for a little bit and when I came back he was wearing a golden helmet too that it looked as if he was putting it off and then wearing it again, I thought my friend was somehow doing it but he didn't. This happened a few weeks ago I think.
