No... Occurs allways between blocks. Doubt it's lighting

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.

Yes. It is a problem in 0.6.0 and 0.6.1. This also occurs on the kindle fire HD.

I believe it may be the coordinate lines that are made visual to the player at a certain angle.

I'm having the same issue on the iTouch 4G. It exists on the first generation Nexus 7 but isn't as bad.
