If you make an 1.16.100 format item, it will not work. But if you change the item format to an older version like 1.16.40/earlier, it will work. But the new 1.16.100 item components will get removed.

i think its like the same issue from the windows 9 thing. like if the version is windows 9, then it might think its windows 95 or 98.
on minecraft, it might think its 1.16.10 or the old beta (1.16.100.xx)
