Summary:
Non-solid blocks, such as flowers, in front of a bee nest/hive prevent the bees inside from leaving it. This is not the case in Java Edition.
Steps to Reproduce:
Place a bee nest/hive
Place a flower in front of it
Spawn 3 bees
Wait for the bees to go inside the nest/hive
Once they are inside, wait for a few minutes
Observed Results:
The bees never leave their nest/hive.
Expected Results:
Bees should be able to leave their nest/hive when a flower is in front of it.
Original Description:
Bees do not leave their hives or nests if it is not in direct sunlight. I experienced the bug when i updated to 1.16.100 and I noticed that my bee farm don't produce honey and beeswax. I checked the hives and there are no bees coming out. There are 68 beehives in my farm and none of those left their houses. Each hives contain 3 bees. Also, I did manage the bees to leave their hives by simply breaking the hive with a silktouch axe. Also, i noticed when there is a direct sunlight, the bees would actually leave their hives just like what it is intended to do. I breaked and placed all of the hives at nighttime and I expected at morning it to work. Unfortunately, after I slept, all of the bees maintain to be in their hives even at daytime. I need to stock-up some beeswax for the upcoming 1.17 update that brings candles into the game. I hope this gives you enough information and fix the bug as soon as possible. Anyway, stay safe guys! Happy Holidays!

Can confrim it is still present in 1.16.201. Bees can enter a nest/hive if a flower is in front of it but they cannot exit.
I have also experienced this in 1.16.201
I'll be able to work around it by making my honey(comb) farm larger, but it still exists.
Problem occurs in 1.16.200 as well
