Hi there.
I recently moved from the Java version of Minecraft to the Win 10 version so my child can cross-play with her Nintendo Switch friends, and I am seeing really excessive performance issues.
I am running an i9-9900K w/ 32GB of memory and an RTX 2080 TI. Anything above 48 Chunk rendering causes my CPU (all cores) to top out at or nearly 100% causing stuttering in the gameplay.
I tend to play a number of very CPU / GPU-intensive titles and do not have issues so suspect there is an issue w/ the current release of Minecraft but have not found anything definitive on the subject.
