At night, when a villager enters their bed, they slide off. Sometimes they lay down off of their bed and then slid onto the bed while laying down. The next morning, some of my villagers that slide into the wall seemed to have vanished for a while and I thought they vanished, but they did reappear.
The attached picture shows them not sleeping centered on the bed.
