Hi! my sons server has a bug.
Here is what happens:
1. He has been playing in his private server on MCProHosting/PocketMine-MP
2. Playing in Creative Mode in the server
3. He tries to put an item in his hotbar
4. The selected slot flashes but doesn't give him the item.

Do what the splash says: "BLAME SHOGHICP". He is the developer of PocketMine, not Mojang.
Mojang can't really do anything.
Yes, as Mark said, I do not believe this is a minecraft issue, rather that it is an issue with the server software, which is PocketMine-MP. You can probably report it somewhere around here https://forums.pocketmine.net/
