Plastic Steve not working with the Plastic Texture Pack

I have just recently purchased the Plastic Texture Pack off the Marketplace and expected Plastic Steve to be a replacement for Normal Steve. However the Skin does not change with the Texture Pack and it uses the Custom Character in it's place. Last image shown with in-game screenshot.

(First image with ? is just my concern, I just really like Plastic Steve's look ;p)
