I just tried crafting Creeperhead fireforks and fade to red fireworks but when i crafted them they turned into small-ball black fireworks, this happens to pretty much all types of fireworks (unless you're not using shaped fireworks like creeperheads then the color is correct) its really annoying because now you can't get any modified fireworks at all.
In summary this means shaped fireworks are impossible to craft.
