So I had an iPhone before and I have an android now and this glitch occurs on both of the devices I've had including my sister's Itouch 4G. Sometimes if you have multiple active reactors, they interact to where if you get too for from one, all of them deactivate and you can see zombie pigmen flash around the reactor.
What I expected to happen was that the reactors would act independently and if you were in the radius of one reactor, it would activate. I need this ability in order to make my custom maps.
What actually happened was that when I hacked in multiple infinitely active reactors and placed them in different spots (2 in a group together and 1 maybe around 20-30 blocks away), if I got too far from the solitary reactor the others would glitch and you can see pigmen flash around the reactors randomly.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. On Android: In creative (it happens in all game modes but its easier to replicate in creative), place 2 or more reactors a couple of blocks apart. Make sure that all of the reactors you place are in midair.
2.Go 20 blocks away in a straight line, turn 90 degrees, and go around 5-10 blocks and place a single reactor.
3.Exit out of MCPE and delete it in task manager. Get PocketInvEditorPRO and open up that world.
4.Click tile entities and for every reactor on the list, click it and check all of the boxes.
5.Reopen MCPE and go into the world. Zombie pigmen should now infinitely spawn.
6.Fly around the reactors and inspect problems.
For IOS:
I forget exactly what numbers you must change (there are 2 numbers to change) but you must open the entities file in a hex editor and change certain numbers. There is a video tutorial on this on YouTube.
Thank you for all of your hard work on MCPE and I hope you can replicate this bug cause I'm stuck on my Alternative Redstone Minigames map because the reactors don't activate in a certain area after I added reactors in another area.
If you can't reproduce this, you can check my channel, YelaXela203, around Saturday or Sunday because I should have a video on this uploaded by then.

Oh well this is vanilla mcpe without mods, its just I told the nether reactor in code that it will stay on forever instead of lasting only a minute like default. And this can be replicated in all game modes. Its just easier in creative since you have reactors in your inventory already. All reactors have the ability to turn on, but mojang didn't give us the ability to in creative. All I did was get past their "iron door". 🙂
That would be modded kind sir you are using mcpe in a way not intended by the developer. I doubt seriously mojang would spend their time "fixing" a bug that wasn't due to something they did.
Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
Im pretty sure the dev team will not debug a modded mcpe considering that is not what they designed the game for. I would send this bug to the developers of the mod apps you are using instead.
(And i do know it is modded because you can't normally use the nether reactor in creative.)
If you can produce this bug on an unmodded MCPE you would probably get better results here.
