Device: Droid Bionic
When trying to start a new creative world, the 'generating terrain' screen displays, progresses to about 90%, and freezes.
When trying to start a new survival world, the 'generating terrain' screen displays, you enter the world, and just as your feet hit the ground the screen goes to a solid green color.
You can't back out of the 'generating terrain' screen, you have to exit and force close MCPE in settings/apps.
You can back out of the green screen, and it returns to the main screen. After restarting or returning to the main screen, the new world you tried to create is listed in the worlds. When you try to open it, the message "can't open xxx world" is displayed.

It no longer goes to the loading screen, it now goes directly to "xxx world can't be opened" for both creative and survival modes, with default options and settings.
Sorry for the delay in responding, very busy home life.

no, not out of storage space. I would think Android 4.1 would be able to handle MCPE... (see phone details in response above)
I have tried restarting, delete/redownload MCPE, force close/ restart, etc. the usual troubleshooting for apps that malfunction. MCPE 0.13.1 and 0.13.0 work fine on my other devices, including an almost 2 year old table also running Android 4.1. And yes, I have copied my world to a safer place ( 🙂 and it thanks me for it, I just can't play it on my phone... 😞
If you can't reproduce the bug, then it's probably just my device, and not a problem with MCPE coding. frustrating to say the least.

I am afraid we can not reproduce this bug in the recent version. Please update affected versions if this bug still occurs.
Does this bug still appear in 0.13.1? If so please respond.
