My sister loaded into her world when for some reason, all 1.16 textures are bugged. The game is up to date with the most recent version. Almost all of them look like the soul flames, and fade in/out of the signature pink and black missing texture. Any 1.16 items, such as a netherite sword, appear invisible. And some random tools like the wooden pickaxe appear as the missing texture thing. Also, some particle effects like potions and water splashing are bugged as well, appearing as squares.

Is this still an issue in the latest version (1.17.2)? If so, can you please add it to the affected versions (or mention it if you are not the reporter).
