Animals disappearing/despawning

At first my tamed animals or named ones started disappearing/despawning, but only when I wasn’t looking. Later I noticed llamas, sheep, cows, pigs, chickens, foxes, wolves, etc keep disappearing even when I was still looking at them, but only when they went a little far away
