Fully enchanted and then grindstoned netherite boots said too expensive in anvil even though they had no enchantments.

When I enchanted my netherite boots to the point where the anvil said too expensive I realized I didn't put on all the enchantments I wanted so I disenchanted it using a grindstone so I could restart. But when I put the newly disenchanted boots in the anvil it still said too expensive even thought they were plain netherite boots with no enchantments.
