Minecraft Bedrock constantly crashes when running any of MakeCode tutorials in it

Just bought Minecraft Bedrock for PC, running on Windows 10 with all latest updates, latest Minecraft version 1.16.201, downloaded latest CodeConnection.

  • Start CodeConnection, start Minecraft, execute "/connect 192.168.1.153:19131" in Minecraft chat, connects ok

  • click any tutorial in CodeConnection (e.g. "Flower Trail"), use MakeCode/Blocks language, put the simple code for tutorial and click Play button (triangle)

  • go to Minecraft and try to use the code from the tutorial

  • it will run for ~30 seconds and then Minecraft crashes and closes silently. Every time, no exclusions.

Tutorials that don't continuously execute code (e.g. a 1-time action call) - may work (if they run shorter than ~30sec)

Btw, in the previous ticket I've created in CodeConnection github - the devs team acknowledged the problem and said they are investigating: https://github.com/microsoft/pxt/issues/7738

(unfortunately the ticket was closed before they replied, so I opened the new one to track: https://github.com/microsoft/pxt/issues/7915 )

I have 2 x Lenovo U330 Touch laptops running Windows 10 Bedrock 1.16.201

Both have been recently wiped and patched, and have had Minecraft Bedrock reinstalled.

Under the direction of a gaming tutor we managed to get my boys up and running with Make Code via ‘Code Generator’ and have managed to run a small bit of code.

However on both laptops after about 2 mins with the Make Code integrated, the Minecraft bedrock client crashes.
