Netherite tools and armor make ruin minecraft

I have a world that had elite forces equipped with full enchanted armor. I worked really hard to make them the best they could possibly be, and now Netherite is better! Netherite didn’t only ruin that world for me, but it also is just lame and I don’t get the point of it. I would like it if Netherite equipment was out of Minecraft, but I would be just fine if Diamond was just made better than Netherite.
