Slime blocks and honey blocks can't be seen through clouds

I cannot see slime blocks and honey blocks through clouds. This only applies to slime blocks and honey blocks, not other blocks (as shown in the screenshot). I was in Creative at the time but this could apply to other gamemodes.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make your way up to a place where you can are at the same level(s) as the clouds
2. Place down slime blocks/honey blocks
3. Look through the cloud. The slime blocks/honey blocks will not appear.

Observed Results:
The slime blocks and honey blocks do not show through the cloud

Expected Results:
The slime blocks and honey blocks show through the cloud as normal
