I was having some issues with my PC and had to reinstall my windows. Previous to this my minecraft detected my xbox controller without any issues. After the reinstall all other programs and games detect and use the controller fine however minecraft for windows 10 won't detect it for gameplay or menu control. I have already tried reinstalling the drivers including switching to a different version. This has caused significant problems as I am no longer able to play with my daughter since we use the controller to do so.

Is this still an issue in the latest version (1.17.2)? If so, can you please add it to the affected versions (or mention it if you are not the reporter).
