Hopper Minecarts Randomly Despawning

The hopper minecart on one of my redstone builds keeps despawning. It doesnt seem to be affected by how often or when I join the world, if I load the chunk, or leave if I leave the chunk and come back.  This is happening on a multiplayer realm I don't host.
