Hello! I have played a certain minecraft world on the cross platform version on PS4 with my girlfriend who plays on PC. Everything worked fine with the server for the first two weeks but after that we noticed a significant change in the amount of mobs spawning in. First, we reacted to this by decreasing the amount of torches we had around our home. After that not working, we went to explore the world and even though nights went buy, we did not find a single mob around. Even the bird things in the sky which will attack you after certain amounts of nights not slept did not spawn in. Everything is quiet in the world when it come to living creatures spawning in. After the mobs had completely disappeared (even a big decrease in the nether), also the animals and fishes in the sea don't seem to spawn in as much anymore. This has been very stressful for us, since we have put so many hours into the world during the last couple of weeks. Everything was fine and normal in the beginning, but something had to happen during the game that led up to the silence. I did not manage to find anything helpful from the internet, so I wonder is this a new bug that has come up. I will highly appreciate any help on this matter.

My buddy and I are in the same situation. I have to change my difficulty settings in our world multiple times throughout our game time to trigger mobs to get back to spawning.
I play on the PS4 and he plays on the switch. Both of our games are updated to Bedrock, but the world was created about a year ago on my PS4 system.
I wish this could get fixed because it does cause quite a bit of issues while playing over the course of a few hours.
Is this still an issue in the latest version (1.17.2)? If so, can you please add it to the affected versions (or mention it if you are not the reporter).

I have the exact same bug on my world. I've had the world for a few months but same thing with you after a few weeks mobs stopped spawning. Overworld, end, and nether. I don't know how to fix this bug so sorry I wasn't able to really help.
