Buttons Overlapping on Home Screen - Nintendo Switch Lite

Since yesterday, my version of Minecraft has started to crash after crashing out of a world that my s.o. and I were playing local together on. 

So first, I was using the elytra and suddenly started losing a lot of health very quickly while flying but the world started to not render in and I died once I hit the blank space where the world wasn't. I clicked to rejoin the world and it kept saying it was loading but never did anything and finally the game crashed. I wasn't able to load back into our world until today. 

Now to the problem that hasn't resolved. When I switch to local, on the home screen, there are two buttons that are overlapping. One is the "Sign in with a Microsoft Account" button and the other is the "Marketplace" button. These both cross over the A and Y options at the bottom of the screen. I am hoping it's just a fluke since it doesn't happen on my s.o.'s switch but it's definitely a little concerning.
