While trying to convert villagers into zombie villagers to recure them, they are killed instead of converted. I am playing on Easy.
Update: I changed the difficulty to Hard after finding an old post with the same issue, and the zombie is broken. He would not lose interest in me and ignored the villager completely. I even placed blocks so the zombie did not have a way to path to me and he still would not lose interest. So there seem to be more than one bug.

Please put only one bug report in each ticket. It is very difficult to keep track of bugs when they are not in their own tickets.
However, please review the Bug Tracker Guidelines before creating new reports. Be sure to search for an existing issue as it is likely to have already been reported.
You do need to be in Hard mode for zombies to always convert villagers. If you are able to reproduce the issue of the zombie losing interest and cannot find an existing ticket, be sure to provide clear steps that someone else can follow on any new report you create.
