Sool speed does not work through slabs on console bedrock through slabs.

I have personally tried this on my realm today. I keep reading posts that say this is resolved. However, It is not. It is bad enough that the durability loss is there. But now I have to deal with mobs spawning in  front of me while I run through my nether tunnels, because soul speed does not work through slabs as y'all say it does.
