[MCPE-118737] Haste 2 effect does not increase mining speed

I made a full tier beacon and put haste 2 on it. It shows the particles and says on the corner of my screen that I have haste but I don't mine any faster. I am playing on the most recent version of bedrock on Nintendo switch.

Unable to reproduce on Android. I have attached a video (here) showing me mining without Haste 2 with both Efficiency 5 and unenchanted diamond pickaxes and then with Haste 2 with both. There is a noticeable difference in the video.

Did you select both the haste buttons? You have to select the one on the left first followed by the one on the right to obtain Haste II instead of Haste I

You can’t really send videos on switch.
