Glitching through walls

Somewhy and annoyingly I am able to glitch through walls when I jump and there's a block above me or if there's a wall with one block in front of me at the bottom with an airspace. I hope that makes sense that was a lot. But the main problem with this is that you are able to suffocate and if there's fire or lave you can get burned, and it's just annoying
