Suffocation at seemingly random

I’ve noticed 2 situations where suffocation happens unwarranted. One is if you run at a wall where a block will cover your head, but not your feet. This is especially common online. The other seems to be when you aren’t on a full block. For example, just standing on a chest and walking into a wall is enough to take damage.
