Trapdoor bottom texture not facing the correct direction

The texture on the bottom face of trapdoors does not face in the correct direction when the trapdoor is in the horizontal position. It faces the opposite direction. This is only observed to happen when the trapdoor is placed so that it opens towards either the north or south direction.
