Elytra cape glitch

When I wear a cape my elytra takes on the texture of it as it should but so dose all of the elytra on the world that are equipped (other players and armour stands) it will always take on the owners cape texture. in all this is a weird bug that has been around for a wile and we all would like to see it fixed.
