Improperly sized items

After logging on to my two-player world we noticed some strange things; multiple items were too big and inproportionate to the rest of the players body the bow and arrow was incorrectly sized and the food was extremely far to the left of where it would normally be and the shield was much larger than usual we went into all the settings to try and find something that would fix it and found nothing that changed it everything still remained extremely large even if we change the fov... I hope you can help thanks
