Selected item sometimes doesnt appear on your hand.

So I started a new world in Bedrock Edition then when I tried to change to an item it somewhy got selected on the hotbar but in my hand it wasnt there. So if you see the screenshot you will see how I have the pickaxe selected but my hand is empty. I dont know how this happens but I think its because you switch too fast of items.
