Sky does not not darken while standing on soul sand

The lower area of the sky is supposed to darken while standing on soul sand.
My device is a Windows 10 PC running Minecraft Windows 10 Edition Beta 0.13.1.

Edit: Just found out that its supposed to be a bug on the PC version of
Minecraft and not a feature. So can someone please close this issue?
