Blocks with the cross model, or X model, mirror the texture at two sides on all cross model blocks, save for one.
You can see what I'm talking about here.
[media]Generally speaking this wouldn't really be an issue. Simply a minor annoyance, if that given that it's hardly noticeable most of the time. Though I feel it's more of a problem on the crimson and twisting vines.
[media][media]I've noticed this for a long time, but never reported it because it has no impact on gameplay. The only reason I report it now is because it's an actual problem on one new block in the Caves and Cliffs update, the pointed dripstone. Pointed dripstone is interesting to me because while it does use the cross model, the block is indented to appear rounded, like a cylinder. It relies solely on it's texture to convey that round shape. This is where the problem comes in. From two sides of the block, it looks like this.

Whereas it is supposed to look like this.
[media]Apparently someone thought enough of it to actually make the effort to have one block not have this issue, which is the cave vines, or glow berries.
[media]It looks good and proper just like this from all sides.
I really hope this is fixed. I don't want to walk into a cave and see this everywhere.
