Hi, I found a way to fix this error on ps4 so you need to delete all your saved data for Minecraft while the app is open then you can go back on the app then sign in it will keep saying signing into your Microsoft account while it's saying that go straight to storage and delete your saved data again then go back on the app and sign in and voila
So far, I wanted to play Minecraft five times with my son, and two times out of these five, I struggled for more than an hour to get connected.
This time, it suddenly worked again after I uninstalled the "xbox console companion" and installed the xbox app. Before that, I tried restarting the game, restarting the router, restarting the computer, logging out and logging in again, etc... so I'm not sure if anything I did made a difference. In any case, I find it quite frustrating to pay a monthly fee for a service (realms) that is so unreliable. one would assume that Microsoft should be somewhat competent at delivering reliable services at scale...
I've found a solution: download a VPN (best free VPN is TunnelBear), set the location to another country ( I've used the USA, i live in The Netherlands). Now login to your Microsoft account on Minecraft. It should work, then you can deactivate the VPN. You should be able to acces all realms, servers, marketplace and yout skins now.
I'm using v1.18.2 on Windows 11. I am unable to login constantly getting the Glowstone error. Yes, I've tried all of the troubleshooting steps. This has been happening for over a week.
After much trial and error I found a fix that worked for me.
I reset all of the XBox related apps including XBox Console Companion in add/remove programs.
Launched the XBox companion. Choose the old XBox Console Companion option underneath where it says Launch.
Open Minecraft and hopefully it will let you sign in. It worked for me.
I found that if I launched the new companion I got the Glowstone error.
