Forced Underwater Night Vision

With the introduction of the latest Beta, came a very much needed Java parity feature, Underwater Color/Visibility. After joining the Beta for a short while I noticed some inconsistencies regarding underwater visibility on the Bedrock version. Long story short, when exploring underwater, it seems as though the player itself has night vision due to the obvious clear visibility underwater. Underwater visibility on the Java version is not as noticeable due to underwater fog.  

I'll make sure to include photos from both the Java and Bedrock version for more of clear understanding of the problem. 

Expected Results

Underwater visibility closely matches that of the Java version of Minecraft. 

 

Actual Results 

Underwater visibility includes an obnoxious night vision effect when roaming underwater.

was made for a previous beta build and not this specific beta?
