I updated to the lastest version.
I went into play.
After a time I went to repair my pickaxe and found it wasn't working.
I went n2 a superfoat test world built a 1hit mob farm ALL xp went to my levels. My MENDING pickaxe BROKE!!!
using bottles of enchanting didn't work nor did trading with villagers.
While I found SIMILAR reports they all said xp was going to both levels AND bari e only went to the bar.

I put mending on a pickaxe also and since the new mineral elements have appeared the mending feature no longer repairs like it does on other items with mending. My Armor never shows it going down with mending on. My pickaxe goes down to red, and before last patch it looked like mining Obsidian would repair the pickaxe, but now it still keep going down. Very frustrating as the repair with another new pickaxe is EXPENSIVE in experience points. Please fix this.
Is this still an issue in the latest version? If so, can you please add it to the affected versions (or mention it if you are not the reporter).

Do you mean that the Mending enchantment does not work when you gather EXP? Were you holding/equipped the pickaxe?
