When summoning a wolf with the minecraft:on_tame event, the entire dog will be red, instead of only the collar. The dog is then dyeable, the same way that sheep are. Pictures attached below.
Image 1 shows the command that is typed for this bug, as well as a red dog that was summoned using it.
Image 2 shows a dog that I dyed magenta.
