I have tested this on both the current release as well as the current beta. The controller is detected correctly in Windows both via Bluetooth and USB connection. However, inside the game itself, none of the controls respond. I have used this same controller on Android Bedrock with zero issues.
The testing utility for windows shows that the controller is properly setup and all the controls respond correctly for testing. This seems to be a problem exclusively with Bedrock not responding to the controller. PC bedrock continues to work fine for keyboard and mouse play, as well as with PC touchscreen. Just not with the controller.
Note that I have tested this with two different PCs running Windows 10 with same results.

Cleaning up old tickets: This ticket had been set to 'Awaiting Response', but has not received a response from the reporter (~3 months+) so is being closed as Incomplete. If you feel this is still a valid issue then please comment, or create a new ticket following the Issue Guidelines which includes steps to reproduce the problem.
