Can u fix the red stone for Minecraft Nintendo

I made a Minecraft elevator out of sticky pistons slime blocks or honey blocks actually it was both and I made the elevator out of a flying machine and I want it to go up and then stop then come back down and it didn’t work all it did was go up and down with out stopping and it wouldn’t go to any ends so what I’m trying to say is please fix the slime block and honey blocks with the sticky pistons please and please fix the red stone for Nintendo switch please thank you
