Hoppers don't work

When you drop items on top of a hopper the hopper doesn't suck in the items on top or when it's connected to a chest. Also the hoppers don't put items in chests. So basically hoppers don't work at all 😞

Steps to reproduce
Step 1: throw item(s) on top of hopper or connect a hopper to a chest (either from the side so the hopper can put items in the chest or put the hopper on top of the chest so it can suck items from it, but either way it won't work like hoppers usuallly function.)
Step 2: Cry that hoppers don't work because they're bugged out in 0.14.0 beta build 4 😞
