This problem also exists in the Win 10 v0.14.0 release. I ran into the issue when maps I had placed on item frames did not appear on my map upon reentering a world. Here's a video showing a green map marker disappearing

I am afraid we can not reproduce this bug in the recent version. Please update affected versions if this bug still occurs.
