Today I was playing on one of my worlds, had to pause for a second, so I saved and quit, and left for a little bit. Once I came back I pressed play on the Minecraft menu, and to my surprise the Minecraft world I was just playing on was not there. It wasn't anywhere, it was gone. If anyone knows what I should do, or what happened, it would be very appreciated.

, does the world file appear there?
