I have a chest room and a armor rack in the room and I go in there for some supplies I needed to build a house and I realize that my armor rack is gone. I never use the armor because I needed to finish enchanting the chest plate so I had it on the rack for safety so I wouldn't die wearing it but it disappeared from my room. I've checked my inventory to see if I some how picked it up, I checked all the chest that surrounds it and nothing. And as I was trying to make this complaint I seen another complaint recently about not being able to find diamonds and I'm basically going through the same drought of not being able to find any diamonds. Idk if 1.17 caused a glitch or issue with diamonds but my armor set has disappeared and it's impossible to go out and find diamonds

This happened to me as well tonight (08/28/2021). I had 3 armor stands with complete diamond armor and weapons equipped. All 3 are completely gone. I am the only player in my world so I do not believe it to be possible that it was taken by another player. I had temporarily left the area for maybe one day (minecraft time) and came back to it gone. I invited a friend in to this world to see if they could see the armor stands and maybe it be a bug in my game only. My trusted friend also could not see any of the armor stands. Only the armor stands with complete diamond sets were affected as my other stands with iron or mix match sets were left alone and are fine.
