Iron Golems not spawning

I have been trying to get Iron Golems to spawn since the new update. I have intentionally chosen villages to be sure that all conditions are met and adding beds to them. No matter how many villagers are bred, the only Golem is the one that originally spawned with the village. I am playing on a single player world and have tried this in creative and survival. I have created 6 other worlds to test it, as well as trying it on our second Switch. I have spent hours with each village, and there are absolutely NO Iron Golems spawning at all.
