Conditional Command Block only accepts if directly behind

Took a while to figure out this was the problem, but a conditional command block does not check from the previous command block unless it is directly behind it.

Turning a corner does not work and is always false., thus the condition will never execute

 

My only fix was to make sure turns only happened on non-conditional blocks
