If you go into a cauldron that has Snow Powder in it then you won't freeze but if you go into Snow Powder that's not in a cauldron then you will freeze.
Steps to Reproduce:
Place a cauldron
Place powder snow inside the cauldron
Switch to Survival mode
Stand inside the cauldron
Observed Results:
The player does not freeze.
Expected Results:
The player should freeze.

Cauldrons are pretty weird in minecraft, same thing like you can’t break your fall in a water cauldron. I guess this was never coded into the game.
you are not shaking too (even in a complete powder snow block)
