Issues Updating and Uninstalling Minecraft Bedrock

Currently my Minecraft will open and play, but will not allow me to update or uninstall the game from Microsfot store. 

When I try to go into microsoft store it says I can install/update even though it's already in my computer. It does not let me do so when I try, when I do it says "Something happened on our end, try again later". I've triend many times and alwyas says that.

So I opened my control panel to see all my programs and it's not there! I can still open and run solo worlds but not realms or anything else. It's like a ghost version of the program is there somehow. 

The fixes I tried were using command prompt to reset my microsoft store and then see if it worked but it did not. I searched the web for a solution and other playes have had similar issues but all of the solutions have not worked.

 

Please let me know what i can do to fix this.

Just uninstall it and reinstall(uninstall by typing 'add or remove programs' on the search in the task bar.(remember to make a copy of your files). If this does not work, this should either be a MC bug or a Microsoft bug.

Thank you for your suggestion but I also tried uninstalling using "add or remove programs" and it did not work. When I try this method and I click uninstall nothing happens at all, the minecraft still opens and plays solo but tells me I need an update.

Is this still an issue in the latest version? If yes, can you please add it to the affected versions (or mention it if you are not the reporter)?
