Game sometimes freezes during or after startup loading screen

When attempting to open the application, the first time, the game froze after the loading bar reached 71%. The second and third time, it froze after reaching 98%. During these times, I did not have internet connection, but I believe the game was designed to be played without an internet connection as well. The fourth time was with internet connection, where the game froze after loading had finished and I arrived on the title screen. It did not freeze during the fifth time.

Note that the application did not crash, but freeze. It did not unfreeze after waiting a while, so I closed the application by myself.
