When my friend and I went through the end portal back into the overworld, it would say that we died and we respawn back at our set spawn points, although there would be no death screen and we would lose all our items, and it would say we fell from a high place. Our items were not in the end near the portal, and they were not by our spawns in the overworld. We also went back to world spawn and our items were not there.

That happend me in Nether portal. I had full enchanted netherright gears and tools, then i died and lost my stuff. It was generating world for about 1 min and when i finnaly finished loading i was on you died screen. The death message was “succofed in a wall”
