You cannot hear any music discs when you try to play them in a jukebox.

I've tried changing the volume on the jukebox/noteblock settings and restarting the game, but none of the discs make noise when I try to play them.

I think you should download the Music pack from the marketplace first.

You will need to download the free music pack from the Marketplace to hear music.
