My Minecraft world was perfectly fine until it's size went over 80.0MB. My world always crashes upon entering. It took 3 tries to go into it. I have tested it with other worlds and it had the same effect.
Devices Tested:
iPod Touch 6th Generation - iOS 9.2.1
Affect Version:
MCPE 0.14.0

I have the same device as yours and couldn't reproduce it, possibly it could be due to a world corruption.
Hmmm.. very odd, though sometimes i can go into my world and there aren't any chunk errors or any missing blocks...

I have a world > 100 MB on my iPad 3 and it's working perfectly. I think the file size itself is not relevant to the bug.

Just tested this in a world that is 113.6 MB and experienced no crash. You might be experiencing a crash when you open your world. Since this might be the case you might want to refer to MCPE-12732
